If you haven’t visited Hyde Park Books recently, you are in for a treat. New owner Jem Wierenga is making changes, creating cozy reading nooks, bringing in new inventory, and giving the Boise book store a makeover.

Along with his booster club of friends, book-lovers and sympathetic shelvers, Jem and the Hyde Park Book Boosters are hard at work dusting shelves and alphabetizing. We can’t wait to build the North End neighborhood and the rest of Boise the best little bookstore in Idaho! We’re always ready to meet new neighbors and get to better know our community. Stop in, grab a Steinbeck or a Sophocles, and say hello!

We specialize in Western and Military History, hardcover Classic Fiction and Biographies, Literary Criticism, a small but fierce Foreign Language section.
